Small polyps growing off

Island

Moved all the new corals off the bottom of the tank today and started placing them. I broke the purple montipora, you can see a small piece on that far left highest plug. If that takes off I guess it's zilch's. I put the other green monti here also but will probably move it. It is in the same place I originally put the orange so hope that works as good.

Tank Shots

Overall Status:

5 bleached corals, 4 relatively happy, and 3 questionable corals from Pacific East. I'm going to stick to getting stuff of locals for a while now. I'll do mail order in spring/fall around here (Philly). The crabs seem to like walking on the corals.

Just put carbon in because the trumpet seems a little curled up. I'm guessing the new acro's probably released some fun chemicals into the water. Remind me to pull that out in a few days.

Calcium level is in the low 300's, I think it was 320. I picked up some powder at HR to add. Fil suggested adding some about once a week, a small amount. I'll wait until wed then add a few days before adding some.

Redirected the K4 on the left side to point more to the right, still battling the cyano. It looks a little better right now but it still seems to come and go a lot. Next month add a K3 to the center or left when I have more money.

Set up a quarantine tank that has nothing but a heater in it. It had guppies in it so I just moved them to my planted tank.

The yellow tang seems to have 1 small white dot, ick, on it's left fin. He looks very healthy now, fins look really good, I can't see pit's where the skunk shrimp pulled out the ick.

Xeinia is starting to split into smaller parts, it has little heads popping off the sides on the stems. A few little guys have moved off the big ones to the rock. It is almost like a slime or chewing gum effect as it moves.

Random Coral Shots

Zoa - orange with pink or purple center

green plastic looking zoa with longer stems

montipora - starting to get really big, there are 3 big and 1 small split at the top that are starting to grow over each other. The bottom is starting to grow out and should start to hit the rock soon.

This piece seems to grow about 1mm a day using my scientific calculations of guessing.

This piece is growing exceptionally good. It was about the size of 2 dimes when I got it from zilch. It is about the size of 2 quarters now. I'm curious what will happen with the xeinia as it gets bigger.

New Corals (with MH on)

Tried a Few different camera settings. I have an underwater setting on my camera that I found by accident today. With the underwater setting the colors are much closer to the real colors. The first shot here is with the underwater setting.

frags

Got some frags from Frezel today, they look much better then the ones i ordered. I guess less then 1 hour of shipping is better then overnight.

Still Some Hope

The one on the left here was the last to open but it is starting to look happy. Kinda is raised up instead of being right on the rock.

Can you see the fuzzy-ness in the picture (click it for a 1024x768 image)? This one looks a little more pink right now and looks like it might be opening up. Hard to tell.

Types

(Will add pictures later)

Stylophora
montipora digita

Corals (Better Shot)

Acclimating to my lights. A while with atinics, then 1 MH, then the other MH.

No orange monipora, thankfully! The bottom left white-ish one was in the bag labled monipora. Now I just need to identify what each one is.

Bottom right zoo is orange and the acro looks purple right now but looked more pink when I was dripping it.

Hopefully I didn't kill everything during the drip process or during shipping. Two of the zoanthids have not opened yet, the one on the left looks pinkish.
